Gould-Emerson-Worcester 
House Tour

The History of the Gould-Emerson House, 
c: 1806-1808

This interesting old house is a brick-end Federal built 1806-1808 and originally the home of the first post office plus a store, as well as living quarters.

View 10 plus rooms, upstairs and down, and listen to beautiful flute duets as you tour the various rooms. See:

After the tour, wander into the backyard, check out the fairy houses, then enjoy wine, cider, and various cheeses, plus delectable sweets and savories at tables under the tent.

Please note:
  • There are several steep staircases to negotiate for upstairs viewing
  • No food or drink allowed in the house
  • Photography is prohibited in the house
  • Booties will be provided to be worn over shoes in the house
  • Parking is available at the Hollis/Brookline Middle School across the street
